Context
Northline's drivers lost their route list every time the signal dropped, which on rural routes was most of the day. Many went back to paper.
What I did
Rode along on six routes to see where and how the app failed.
Specified an offline-first route list that syncs scans when the signal returns.
Shipped it to one depot, fixed the sync conflicts, then rolled out to all twelve.
Result
Weekly active drivers grew from 4,000 to 15,500 within a year, and missed-scan complaints dropped by two thirds.
